Privacy policy

TeeUp NYC is operated by Kevin Chen. Contact kchen1519@gmail.com with privacy questions.
What we store
When you sign in with Apple, we store your Apple account identifier, an internal account identifier and the email address Apple provides (which may be a private relay address). We store your saved-search names, dates, time windows, players, courses and explicitly saved preferences to sync them between devices.
Guest searches and device preferences remain in your browser or on your Apple device. Authentication uses a secure browser cookie or Keychain credential. We store session hashes and expiry times, and encrypt Apple authorization tokens used for account management and revocation.
How information is used and shared
We use this information to operate your account, sync searches and find tee times. Our hosting infrastructure processes requests and may keep operational logs for security and reliability. Search criteria are sent to booking services to retrieve availability. Apple processes sign-in. When you open a booking page, that provider handles the reservation and its own privacy policy applies.
TeeUp does not sell personal data, use advertising trackers, collect precise device location or collect payment details. The app does not currently include ads.
Your choices and deletion
Search without an account, edit or delete individual saved searches, or sign out at any time. In Profile, choose Delete account and synced data to remove the stored account, searches and preferences, revoke Apple authorization and invalidate TeeUp sessions. Guest searches are separate: delete them in Saved searches or clear app/browser storage. Contact support for help with deletion.
Account data is kept while your account remains active, until you delete it. Expired sign-in attempts and sessions are removed during subsequent authentication activity. Operational-log retention is governed by the hosting service.
Notifications
When background alerts are available and you opt in, we store a device push token or browser push endpoint linked to your signed-in session. We check active saved searches on our servers and send notifications through Apple or your browser’s push service (such as Google or Mozilla). We retain availability observations for up to 30 days and notification delivery records for up to one day. Turn alerts off in Profile; signing out unregisters that session, and deleting your account removes its notification data. Without background alerts enabled, saved-search checks run while TeeUp is open.
Changes
We will update this page when our data practices change.
